Tripod Quoted in NY Times

On February 3, 2008, The Trinity Tripod was quoted in an article in The New York Times entitled “ON POLITICS; This Year, Full Dance Cards for Local Politicians:

“… Mr. Obama has drawn support from state campuses. He received endorsements from The Daily Campus, the student newspaper of the University of Connecticut, and The Trinity Tripod, the paper at Trinity College in Hartford.

In an editorial, The Tripod wrote about Mr. Obama that ‘his relative inexperience is one of his greatest strengths. He is young, vigorous, and has yet to turn bitter from a lifetime of compromising and deal-making.’

(Mr. McCain received a nod from The Tripod in the Republican race. Mr. Romney was endorsed by The Daily Campus.)”
